Getting its start in 1980 as a popular rumshop, Local Store Aruba has a rich history and a story worth telling. Over the years, it’s become the ultimate destination for locals and visitors alike, serving up some of the best burgers and local dishes around.

On September 27, 2014, the restaurant embarked on a new chapter. With new owners at the helm, we embraced a fresh perspective and a new name, stepping into the era of Local Store Aruba.

At our core, we’ve held tight to the easy-going and welcoming atmosphere that made the original rumshop so special. Today, we continue to be a place where good vibes flow as freely as the drinks, and every guest is treated like family.

We love this place and it's become a regular stop for us during our annual trip to Aruba. Its a short drive from the high rise district. The wings are soooo good, and the burgers and fries are great too. The 3 Alarm Buger is a winner and delicious, but quite large. So I recommend sharing the burger and getting some wings. It's a great combo. Karen was great too! Don't miss this place.
